Boomerangs play an important part in Indigenous Australians culture.

Boomerangs do a lot of things for Aborigines. Killing animals, opening up carcasses and digging up small creatures are just a few.

There are many types of boomerang including a hook boomerang, a V boomerangs, a club boomerang and a killer boomerang. All play an important role but each of them is used for different things.

The way to throw a boomerang may be harder than you would think. You actually have to throw it near vertical not like a frisbee. To get the hang of catching it is hard as well.

The way aborigines made the shape of a boomerang is really hard. They used fire to make it bendable then bent it.
